Beds4Vets recently helped Steve. He served six years in the Army and was honorably discharged. Despite an injury sustained during his service, he was able to find work. But he lost his job due to the COVID pandemic and became homeless. The Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing program (HUD-VASH) found Steve a place to live and then reached out to Beds4Vets. Thanks to your donations, Beds4Vets provided him with bedding and housewares. Now he can prepare a meal, sit at a comfortable place to eat it, and get a good night’s rest despite his disability. These may seem like small comforts but they can make a huge difference in the life of a veteran seeking a fresh start. Thank you for helping Beds4Vets help Steve.
